You, magical bird
From the heavenly realm, lend me your gaze, So your wings can tell me about freedom, To please my soul and tempt my sighs, Towards the light to guide me closer. You used to be a bearer of a new life, With an olive branch the world was reborn, In small things your beauty lies, In you the Spirit towards eternity it flies. When burden overpowers us, And our soul, as long time ago, it gives in, Forget our unspoken message all the same, And remind us of Lord’s glorious name.
