Established in 2006, Al Orthodoxiya Radio is a webcasting station that can be accessed from anywhere in the world via the Internet. The need for such a service was necessary as a means for helping to spread knowledge and enlightenment of the Faith.
Al Orthodoxiya broadcasts materials in line with Orthodox tradition and in a form that fits all Orthodox Christians who follow the Julian and Gregorian calendars around the world. Programs are in Arabic, Greek & English.
Despite relying on donations as its chief source of funding, Al Orthodoxiya is also a generous supporter of other Orthodox projects. Al Orthodoxiya has been a Platinum Sponsor of Byzanfest Web Short-Film Festival since 2015, including 2019.
